Nobo Mrkt

Hatch @ NoBo Mrkt is a parternship between GTFA and NoBo Mrkt, a new innovative food space located in the Commongrounds building at 414 E Eighth Street in downtown Traverse City.

NoBo Mrkt offers:

  • A community gathering space along the Boardman River

  • An anchor local craft beverage center featuring a full bar, Higher Grounds coffee, and Light of Day tea products

  • Space for aspiring chefs and locally sourced food purveyors from the Grand Traverse region to test their concepts through its dedicated food stalls and pop up event and catering opportunities

GTFA Provides:

  • Backbone services for program development

  • Program management and administration support for Hatch @ NoBo Mrkt and Build Basics Grand Traverse

NoBo Mrkt LLC operates at the intersection of food and entrepreneurship. Its mission is to strengthen local food markets in the Grand Traverse region by fostering a culture of support to new and evolving “foodpreneurs”. Together, GTFA and NoBo Mrkt provide community, entrepreneurship and mentoring opportunities based on inclusion and equitable opportunities for the Grand Traverse region.

In 2023, GTFA received grant support from Rotary Charities to support ITS incubator programming.
